About

My name is Elizabeth Schultz. I’m so glad you came to my blog.  I started painting in 2015.  All of my life I suspected that there was something in me that I hadn’t tapped in to.  Sometime in 2015, I had read a book that suggested painting as a way to get into your “right” brain.  I started with a set of hobby store watercolors – painting blobs of color.  Soon, I couldn’t NOT paint.  It’s like a form of meditation, or prayer.  And I hope I’ll always be able to paint.  The possibilities for subject matter are absolutely endless.  And discovering the artist who had been buried deep within still amazes me.  I believe there is an artist/creative person in all of us.

In the picture above, you see me at my easel and in the studio with grandkids.  They come to visit and to see what Iza is painting now!
